I live in frederick maryland. I am a single mother of 3. I do not recieve child support. I have 5 days to find a place for me and my childeren to live. This morning the bitch who rents me space for me and my kids told me I had to leave for doing a load of laundry. I have been paying for anything and everything I use plus what she uses of mine like dish soap, detergent, toliet paper, including food and the list goes on. I have 3 girls, 5, 8, and 11. They are kids and sometimes they are a handful. Its hard enough for me to afford for stuff for them. The are growing so fast, I cant even buy them clothes. I barely make the rent most times, I work hard. I left my family because my uncle was a child molester. I didnt want anything to happen to my kids. so now I am here without a place to live after thursday. I have to go to work, I have a babysitter to pick up my kids today. living here has even started to put stress on my kids, my 8 yr old who is a straight A student, is now showing the stress in her school work, they are constantly yelled at, cussed at, verbally and mentally abused when I am not in a room. they are not allowed in the living room, dining room, only in their room if they are not eating in the kitchen, they are not allowed to get drinks without supervision, not even water, they are not allowed to use ice either. they have an ac unit they were not allowed to use in summer, and a heater that gets turned off if they are not in the room, even to go to the bathroom. The stress is overwhelming here so I do not care that she wants me out. My kids walk on eggshells, and I do too. I feel bad that I am paying for utilitys and am not allowed to wash their clothes without a horrible fight. I am 30 yrs old. I am doing the best I can with what I can luckily I have a few friends that try and help me out whenever they can but with they way the economy is, its not much. I do appreciate all help I recieve. I recieve food stamps and medicare. My husband and I are separated and he says he doesnt have a regular job to help me with them. I have asked the state for help. they said the only thing they can do is help me with a deposit if I can prove I can pay the rent. I dont have a lot of education. I am smart and hardworking. I dont make enough to pay rent without some assistance or something that is subsdized. I need to move now.
